BARGES Regional Group Meeting: "You don't know Jack"

All members in the BARGES and the South Wales area are invited to the next BARGES group meeting. It is on Wednesday 29th February starting at 6.00pm at the Atkins offices at 500 Aztec West, Bristol BS32 4RZ.

Dai Barker will be our guest speaker and he will be presenting “You don’t know Jack”, a talk about the application of 3D anthropometric modelling to informing design. He has a range of examples from the defence, nuclear and aerospace industries.

Dai joined Atkins over three years ago from his degree at Loughborough and a two year DPS at Michelin conducting HASAW noise compliancy work and HMI assessments focussing on alleviating musculoskeletal disorders. Dai has since specialised in the area of anthropometrics and the use of modelling to both identify and resolve issues before a design has been finalised and to aid communication between Human Factors and Engineering / Design professionals.
